The entire contents of this website, whether texts, images, sound, trademarks, logos or other components, as well as its structure, design, colour combinations or the manner in which it presents its material, are protected by copyright, which those using this website must respect. This protection does not extend to any legal texts included on the site for the purposes of consultation or free reproduction, in accordance with article 13 of Royal Order in Council 1/1996, of 12 April, approving the revised text of the Copyright Law. With the exception of said legal texts, the transformation or alteration, public notification or any other use of the contents of this website, for any procedure whatsoever, is unlawful. By agreement with the respective copyright owners, the AAC authorises the use of texts and other creations appearing on the website, exclusively for the purposes of professional consultation and support, providing said use is for private purposes and providing explicit reference is made to the ownership of the texts and images, maintaining, at all times, the identification references appearing therein.

Contents and liability limit

Except where expressly stated to the contrary, links are provided exclusively for informative purposes and do not, under any circumstances, mean that the AAC guarantees the accuracy of the information that can be accessed by their use.

Data protection

In compliance with article 5 of Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December, on Personal Data Protection, the AAC states that the data referring to the users of this website received by means of electronic mail is not, in principle, retained or included in any file. The only data which is retained and processed is that referring to those enrolling on courses organised by the Association or those applying for membership and members wishing to appear in the job vacancies section. In this respect, the Association of Registrars has created Course students, Members and Job Vacancies files, which are entered in the Register of the Spanish Data Protection Agency and which meet all the requirements of the prevailing regulations thereon. Also in accordance with these regulations, the personal data collected by the AAC shall not be transferred to third parties without the consent of those to whom said data refers. Users are reminded that any data appearing in the AAC directory is considered a source for public access, in accordance with article 3 j) of aforementioned Organic Law 15/1999. In all cases, those to whom the data refers may exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition, at any time and free of charge, by contacting the Association of Archivists of Catalonia directly.
