Another of the Association’s basic objectives is to offer members advice and information on issues and aspects of archivistics and archives, and to act as intermediary in respect of questions involving archives for organisations and institutions, as well as companies, to provide them with advice. This objective is met through the following technical publications:
Lligall is a journal published yearly containing articles of a theoretical nature on the archival science, the most noteworthy experiences of Catalan archives and a summary of the Association’s activities, including its annual report, addresses at debate and study symposia and reports on Master’s programmes in archivistics.
Butlletí is published quarterly. Its aim is to provide a dynamic means of communication between the Board of the Association and members, and it presents, among other elements, the resolutions passed by the Board of the Association and scheduled activities.

“Documents i Textos" Collection
This collection publishes information tools that members will find useful, such as the Association’s Constitution, the members directory, the Code of Ethics, etc.
The Association has a small library specialising in archivistics for use by members, made up mainly of monographs, periodicals, reports on Master’s programmes and technical reports.
Advice for institutions and businesses
The Association offers advice as a professional organisation in the field of archivistics to businesses and other organisations and institutions wishing to carry out projects involving organisation of documents, archivistic planning, assessment of collections, training courses, etc.
